Owasa- Powers- Biology Manipulation; Owasa come in two categories, External and Internal. External is where they can manipulate the biology of something they know very close, such as a pet or a specific kind of plant. An Owasa member must know the biology of what they are changing however so they can’t just pick up a random rabbit and turn it into a beast. Internal however are able to change the biology of themselves, this is also a very complex task which limits them to only a couple changes at a time. Forced Mutation; External abilities change a bit more drastically when using Forced Mutation. External changes can become more pronounced, generally allowing more than one change a time, but for a greater cost to the pet or plant being changed. Furthermore, the Internal half of the Forced Mutation would allow similar qualities where the Owasa may be limited to a few changes, these changes can become much more pronounced, or spread across more smaller changes, for an added fallback. Clan Personality- The Owasa clan is a gathering of many different tribes under the same banner of Owasa. While each individual tribe may have small variance in practices and ideals, the majority of all tribes in the Owasa clan have similar traits and ideas. For starters, the Owasa are oriented towards the group, rather than the individual for several reasons. In addition to the Owasa being more focused on tribe values, they are not afraid to socially castrate clansmen for failing to do as they are raised to do, such as helping gather food, resources, and following the tribe’s laws. Because of this strict interpretation one might call the Owasa clan as a cult of sorts, but only in a very loose sense of the word, as the clansmen are only expected to help further their tribe, and not any one individual. Women and men are treated equally in this clan as well. Owasa’s focus on specific ideals like the Septru, though the Owasa are not so much warlike as they are peaceful. Owasa’s preach conservation teachings and to respect the land, not taking more than what is needed. They also teach individuals to be independent, strong, and resilient to corruption from the outside world. They find that many of the more advanced clans are rude to the planet’s needs and see it only as a possession, which causes tensions between them.
- Focus on the clan itself, rather than the individual.
- Social exclusion is a common occurrence for those who do not follow the clan.
- Independance and learning about nature are important in a clansman.
- Chieftain and tribal culture, nomadic as well.
- Little guile is allowed, seeing more dirty deeds as a bad influence to the mind.
